The School of Graduate and Continuing Studies was formally designed in 1986 to serve as an academic unit in response to a strong commitment to graduate and adult continuing education. Graduate and degree completion students are different in some respects but generally are working adults over the age of 25 who after several years are returning to college. The School of Graduate and Continuing Studies continually searches to find ways to meet the needs of the growing number of adults returning to school.
